The Challenge
Restaurant Manor Rock was a Hudson, New York–based restaurant and farm-driven dining concept that partnered with Folta Consulting to strengthen its digital presence and increase awareness across key audiences. The primary objective was to attract diners from the immediate local area while also appealing to New York City–based weekenders, converting awareness into reservations through a considered, channel-led digital strategy.
The Approach
We developed a bespoke marketing and channel strategy tailored to the restaurant’s unique positioning and seasonality. The focus was on driving discovery and bookings from both local diners and NYC weekend visitors through a combination of owned and paid channels.
An email marketing channel was launched from the ground up, supported by seasonal campaigns and automations to maintain engagement and encourage repeat visits. We also set up Meta Business Suite and managed paid media campaigns using a test-and-learn approach, allowing us to refine targeting, scale visibility, and optimise toward reservation intent. All activity was designed to balance reach with efficiency, ensuring marketing efforts translated into measurable footfall and bookings.
The Results
The strategy delivered strong performance, including an 8.7k% increase in reservation page visits. Demand peaked with a complete sell-out of the collaborative Danny Bowien event in June, demonstrating the effectiveness of targeted promotion and audience alignment.
The restaurant received a wave of positive reviews from first-time diners, praising the food as “perfectly prepared” with “fresh, high-quality ingredients and interesting flavour combinations.” Both critics and guests highlighted that the menu genuinely reflected the farm’s produce — not as a trend, but as a substantive foundation of the cuisine.
Despite strong momentum heading into 2026, and following a number of external force majeure circumstances, the business made the decision to refocus its efforts on Manor Rock Farm, closing the restaurant concept while preserving the integrity of the broader vision.
